Cellulite on legs & thighs: the targeted plan
Legs and thighs are where cellulite shows up first and leaves last — because that's where women's bodies prefer to store fat, and where untrained muscle gives the skin nothing firm to rest on. Both of those are changeable.

First, the honest part
You can't spot-reduce fat off your thighs — nobody can, no matter what they sell. What you CAN do is spot-build: train the exact muscles under the areas you care about, while modest fat loss happens body-wide. Firmer muscle + less fat pressing outward = the change you see. That's the entire mechanism — the complete guide explains the science.
The four moves that matter most
- Romanian deadlifts — hamstrings and glutes, the whole back line of your legs
- Bulgarian split squats (or reverse lunges) — quads, glutes, and the stability muscles that shape the outer thigh
- Hip thrusts — the single best glute builder, home or gym
- Step-ups — brutal, simple, and they hit everything above
2–3 leg sessions a week, 30–45 minutes, adding weight or reps every week. Progression is non-negotiable — it's the difference between exercising and changing.
What you eat decides if it shows
Build muscle under a thick layer and you won't see it; starve the muscle and there's nothing to see. The combination: a modest 10–15% calorie deficit with 1.8g of protein per kg (calculate your number). And no — that's more food than your old diet allowed.
The 8-week expectation
Weeks 1–2: strength and energy. Week 4: firmer to the touch, clothes fit differently. Week 8: visible change other people notice. The women in our reviews aren't genetic outliers — they're 8 weeks of consistency ahead of you. Results vary; the requirement doesn't.
